Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, report unusual conditions to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations and required reports.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts, visitors, and leadership regarding security matters.

Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required incident reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
