Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time) in Fremont, CA. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking locations, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
