Job summary

Allied Universal in Royal Palm Beach, FL is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a gate/community role. You will monitor access points, greet residents and guests, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while following site-specific procedures.

Requirements include at least 1 year in security, a guard card or license, and a high school diploma. CPR is preferred, and the position offers flexible weekend shifts and opportunities to advance within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and retail location guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain entry records, and help control access to residential community areas and adjacent retail facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, parking areas, retail spaces, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
