Allied Universal seeks a Part Time Security Officer Entry Authorization in Lumberton, NJ to manage access points, verify credentials, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff. Shifts are Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM and Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and personnel while carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facility areas and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and shift documentation related to activity and incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare facility areas and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns, unsecured access points, and unusual activity.
• Complete accurate reports and shift documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, access-control events, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
