Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Driver Route Inspection) in Schnecksville, PA. You will provide unarmed security, monitor access, and patrol campus areas while using a company-issued vehicle to inspect routes.

Prior access control and badge experience plus a valid driver’s license are preferred. This role offers part-time shifts with opportunities to respond to incidents, support campus safety, and deliver excellent customer service to students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining an orderly environment during academic activities and events.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for incidents and patrol-related activities.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required for positions that involve security monitoring.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.

• CPR Certification (B205)A valid CPR certification is mandatory for roles that require emergency response capabilities.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Previous experience in customer service is essential for positions that involve direct interaction with clients or customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining an orderly environment during academic activities, campus events, and changing schedules.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, and patrol-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
