Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Credential Desk) in Dallas, TX. You will manage access control, verify credentials, and monitor entry points at a logistics location, while delivering professional customer service.

The role includes a part-time schedule with afternoon shifts and a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access badges as authorized, and directing delivery personnel to appropriate areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, maintain accurate gate logs, and report irregularities involving trailers, shipments, or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
