Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Checkpoint) in Shepherdsville, KY. You will protect clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a professional presence on site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location in accordance with visitor, employee, and delivery procedures.
• Verify identification and authorization for individuals entering restricted areas and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter; site conditions vary by client site.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location in accordance with established visitor, employee, and delivery procedures.
• Verify identification and authorization for individuals entering restricted areas and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
