• Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain professional communications with site reps and leadership.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established procedures, directing visitors and/or deliveries as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain professional communication with site representatives, law enforcement personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
