Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Cincinnati, OH. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you increase income while gaining experience in a top security organization.

The position requires at least two years of law enforcement or military/Corrections background, the ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and a high school diploma. Pay is $28 per hour.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
