Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Officer to monitor and protect clients at a financial institution. You will perform armed patrols, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role emphasizes safety, quick decision-making, and adherence to client procedures. Schedule is part-time with evening shifts and potential for additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter security-related incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to policy.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and client requirements.

What You'll Do:
