Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Coordination) in Cincinnati, OH. You will safeguard client sites, provide customer service, and maintain a professional presence across assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, parking patrons, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking facilities, access points, pedestrian areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor parking areas, entrances, exits, and assigned locations for unusual conditions, vehicle‑related concerns, and security‑related issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
