Allied Universal, Blue Bell, PA, is seeking a Part Time Weekend Access Control Specialist to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment. The role supports security operations, visitor management, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain visitor access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, unauthorized entry attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document incidents, access concerns, and daily activities accurately through required reports, logs, and communication channels.
