Allied Universal, Alpharetta-based security provider, is seeking a Part Time Access Command Security Officer in Alpharetta, GA. You will monitor entry points, verify access, assist residents and guests, and maintain a visible, customer-focused presence at a residential community.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour. Schedule includes days and evenings on a rotating basis. Allied Universal offers growth opportunities, training, and a perks program to employees.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, and maintain logs for visitors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and security situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, common areas, parking, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Communicate access requests and security observations to residents and site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the residential community, verify authorization for access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and/or contractor logs as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents and site management regarding access requests, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
