Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Raleigh, NC. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $20.46 per hour, with a part-time schedule that can scale to full-time up to 40 hours per week. You will provide customer service, monitor access, perform regular patrols, respond to emergencies, and document all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate locations with a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Raleigh, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat01:00 PM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
