Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational arts location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, galleries, classrooms, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and help maintain an orderly environment during classes, exhibitions, and special events.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Identification in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.38 / Hour

DayTime Fri 04:30 PM - 08:30 PM Sat 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Sun 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
