Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in New London, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving-preferred role supports a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• This position is primarily a driving post.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
