Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC. You will provide security, customer service, and patrol duties while maintaining a visible presence.

A valid driver's license is required; you must be 18+; a high school diploma; background check and drug screen; driving eligibility; and state/local licensing rules apply. This role offers flexible shifts through our Claim a Shift platform and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business, grounds, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual conditions or activities.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns through a visible presence, access monitoring, and professional communication.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols across assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:
