Job summary

Securitas USA is hosting open interviews for Security Officers across multiple locations in Washington state, including SeaTac, Sumner, Tacoma, and Redmond. This full-time role requires a security-minded individual ready to patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents. Competitive hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $26.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Interview day runs 9AM–12PM with on-site interviews at 17930 International Blvd, SeaTac. Bring a resume and dress business casual.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required; customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and stay vigilant during shifts.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure environment across client sites and facilities.
• Monitor premises, control access, and patrol as assigned.
• Identify safety issues and report hazards promptly.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate judgment and escalation.
• Assist with site setup, signage, and crowd management as needed.

Where: 17930 International Blvd, Suite 550, SeaTac, WA 98118.

Job Site Locations: Sumner, Tacoma, Parkland, Bonney Lake, Bremerton, Lynnwood, Anacortes, Woodinville, & Redmond

Date: 9/24

Time: 9AM - 12PM

Wage Range: $19.00-$26.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Disclosure: To maintain a quality hiring experience, our team can only accommodate a maximum of 12 - 15 interviews per day. We appreciate the understanding of candidates who may need to return on another day if capacity has been reached.

What You Can Expect

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation. Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have 1+ years of experience in customer service / hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
