Job summary

Securitas Security is hosting an in-person hiring event in Mount Pleasant, WI, with on-the-spot interviews and potential contingent offers. Wage ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour and the event runs from 9am to 5pm on Thursday, August 27.

We seek customer service focused individuals to join our security team and support community safety. Join our team for elite training, regional support, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clear driving record at some sites.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Basic computer/tech skills required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Perform access control at entrances/exits.
• Patrol client premises, indoors and outdoors, in various conditions.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals.

Wage: $22.00-$30.00/HR

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required at some sites.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
