Job summary

ACT Security Group is seeking a Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites on the North side, inside the 610 loop in Houston, TX. The role is part-time and requires vigilance, report writing, and strong customer service in a professional security setting.

The schedule features evening and night shifts across three locations (West Houston, Heights, NE Houston) totaling about 32 hours per week. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Texas Security License (Level II or III).
• Ability to be on feet patrolling frequently.
• Ability to deescalate conflict.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols around the property as required in post orders.
• Deter any criminal, undesirable, illicit activity.
• File reports as frequently as required in the post orders.
• Have a customer service style approach to the job.

Job Details - We are looking for 1 officer to work 3 different locations for a total of 32 hours. There is opportunity to pick up more hours.

Schedule

• Thurs. 3pm-11pm (West Houston)
• Fri./Sat. 10pm-6am (Heights)
• Sun. 8pm-4am (NE Houston)

Pay

• $16 - $17 per hour
• Daily Pay available
• Tenure Compensation of up to 80 hours per year
