We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer - Non Commissioned to join our team in SOUTHLAKE, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their guests.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
• Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience as a security officer or gate attendant preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 6:45am to 7:15pm
