Job summary

Allied Universal in Clinton, NC is seeking a Security Officer Patrol to protect clients across industries, including food and beverage locations. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist employees and visitors, and document security activity using computer or tablet tools.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $14.18 per hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma, minimum age requirements, and ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
