Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the school community while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization as directed and reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.
