Job summary

Allied Universal in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a part-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver to join our team. The role involves visible patrols, exceptional customer service, and rapid response to incidents at a tech/media/telecom location.

A valid driver's license and a minimum two shifts per week schedule are required, with compensation at $17.50 per hour. You will work specific afternoon/early-evening shifts and help deter security incidents while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
