Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking a Patrol Officer to join our dynamic team. You will be the visible ambassador for our clients, using keen observation and quick responses to ensure safety and security on site.

The role requires a three-year clean driving record, a valid Driver’s License, and a valid BSIS security license. Candidates must be at least 21, with a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in security or customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Effective communication in English, verbally and in writing.
• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.
• Able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Valid Drivers License with ability to pass MVR check.
• Minimum age of 21.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in security, customer service or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Submit formal reports of each patrol performed.
• Practices safe driving skills both on and off duty.
• Maintains a highly visible presence observing and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct security checks and inspect building entrances and exits.
• Patrol, inspect, and secure access areas into client's premises.
• Lock and unlock areas according to schedule.
• Conduct site safety and security inspections.
• Document observations, activities, and actions completed.
• Adapt and innovate for maximum efficiency.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to walk, run, and climb stairs
• Tolerate exposure to outside elements for extended shifts
• Sufficient hearing to respond to verbal speech and alarms
• Able to stand, walk, and/or drive for up to 90% of a 12-hour shift
