Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard guests, team members and property across the oceanfront resort in South Beach.

Patrols, access control, incident documentation, and rapid response to emergencies are core duties. The role requires 1–3 years in hotel security, calm decision-making, clear communication, and a commitment to safety, with opportunities for training and career growth at Loews Hotels & Co.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hotel security or related field preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest and team interactions.
• Basic first-aid certification or ability to administer first aid preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and security technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances, ensuring a secure environment.
• Execute regular patrols to identify safety hazards and protect guests and staff.
• Respond to emergencies per Emergency Response Procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs for visitor access and package removal.
• Document security incidents and actions taken to ensure accountability.
• Enforce hotel policies and foster a safe, respectful environment.
