Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual conditions and support a professional environment.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
