Job summary

A leading service organization in New York seeks a Security Officer Instructor to plan and deliver training for security professionals. The ideal candidate will have a Florida Class DI Security Officer Instructor License and prior experience in security. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans and maintaining student records. This part-time position offers $75 per teaching hour and requires flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Florida Security Officer experience or as Florida sworn certified police officer.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor certifications a plus.
• Self-defense training also a plus.
• Flexible schedule, willing to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with security officer training.
• Teach course content using a student-centered approach.
• Maintain records of attendance.
• Communicate regularly with the supervisor.
