Job summary

Allied Universal in Reading, PA is seeking a Security Officer EMT - Vehicle Patrol for a part-time role. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter incidents and protect people and property, while delivering professional customer service.

This position requires EMT certification and a valid driver's license for mobile patrols. Shifts are Fri and Sat nights, with pay of $24.40 per hour, and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits through Allied Universal.

As a Security Officer EMT - Vehicle Patrol in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an EMT Certified Security Officer where you will be a member of a pre-hospital emergency care medical team. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for mobile patrols as required. A valid driver’s license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $24.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including business areas and perimeter locations. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
• Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)
• EMT Certification (C127)
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
• Customer Service Experience (B219)
• Possess EMT certification.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
