Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government. The position offers a pay rate of $17.60 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety procedures, responding calmly to incidents, and conducting regular patrols around client sites. Minimum requirements include age, education or experience, and background checks as standard practice.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments may vary by client site.
