Job summary

Gibraltar Protection Inc. in Walnut, CA seeks a Full Time Security Guard to provide professional security services in the Walnut area and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities include daily interactions with staff and visitors, access control, and adherence to company protocols. Requires a CA Guard Card and ability to stand/walk for extended periods; weekend shifts and day schedule from 9am-5pm, with some Fridays 9am-6pm.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CA guard card license.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Driver license preferred but not mandatory (some positions require it).
• Proficient computer and/or smartphone skills including Microsoft Office.
• Active listening skills and understands situational awareness.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
• Ability to identify escalating conditions and quickly mitigate same.

Salary Range: $18.42 - $19.00 Hourly

Travel Percentage: 20 + miles

Job Shift: Day

We are looking to fill a security guard position in the Walnut area and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone with open availability; weekend shifts are a must. We are currently looking to fill a Day position from Monday - Saturday, starting from 9am-5pm most days and 9am-6pm on Fridays. Security guards must be professional and friendly. They have to be alert and be willing to perform foot patrol. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of responding effectively to security concerns.

This includes maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming at all times. This also includes no visible Tattoos!
