Job summary

Securitas USA is hosting an in-person hiring event in SeaTac, WA, for Security Officers. Attend with a resume and business casual attire. The event runs Thursday, 10/1, 9am–12pm, at 17930 International Blvd, Suite 550. Wages range $19–$26 per hour.

Various site locations across the Puget Sound region are included, with a cap on interviews per day. Responsibilities include patrolling, de-escalation, reporting safety issues, and guiding visitors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.
• 1 year customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills considered a plus.
• Ability to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
