Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer at Port Washington, WI. The role focuses on public safety, access control, and vigilant observation to protect client premises.

You will perform patrols, document incidents, and collaborate with the client team to maintain security standards. A strong customer service background and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Standard computer/technology skills required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises under various conditions.
• Handle conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports of incidents.
• Work in a team to meet site goals.
• Carry out tasks similar to assigned site requirements.

• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Provide detailed written reports.

• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.

• Standard computer / technology skills needed.

• Customer service background preferred.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.

• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
