Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a full-time role in Douglas, AZ. The position involves monitoring premises, managing access control, patrolling multiple sites, and enforcing client regulations to maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, can work independently, and remains calm under pressure. Arizona Guard Card and a valid driver’s license are required, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Douglas, AZ

Wage: $15.35/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must have a professional demeanor.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Arizona Guard Card required.

• Valid Driver’s License required.
