Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a PRN Security Officer to patrol facilities, monitor access control and CCTV, and respond to emergencies during night shifts. Requirements include a high school diploma and at least one year in security; a valid driver's license and CPR are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related security experience required.
• Driver's license required; CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and enforces life safety standards.
• Investigates suspicious activity and reports hazards.
• Responds to emergencies and alarms; provides first aid if needed.
• Learns systems and responds to fire alarms during drills.
• De-escalates conflicts using verbal skills.
• Unlocks buildings after verifying IDs and policies.
• Monitors traffic; interviews individuals involved in incidents.
• Documents safety incidents and reports to proper entities.
