Geisinger is seeking a Security Officer I to maintain safety and security for an assigned area at GWV. You will conduct patrols, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and assist patients and staff while ensuring a safe environment for all.
The role offers a minimum hiring rate of $16.24/hour with increases for experience and up to $2 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Hours are 20 per week, with day/evening rotation, including weekends and holidays.

Responsible for maintaining safety and security for an assigned area. Maintains safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees; conducts routine patrols of assigned areas to keep property and persons free from risk; meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned area. Responds to emergencies, fire alarms, hazardous material incidents. Deals with conflict, confrontation, and stressful situations on a routine basis. Performs both foot patrol and vehicle patrol of facilities and grounds. Must be physically able to provide the essential services of the position.
