Geisinger is seeking a Security Officer I to maintain safety for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes patrols by foot and vehicle, responding to emergencies, enforcing rules, and coordinating with local authorities. The candidate will be responsible for security technology and incident reporting.
A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required. Full-time hours, day shifts, with competitive benefits and potential pay differentials for experience and shifts.

Responds to emergencies, fire alarms, hazardous material incidents. Deals with conflict, confrontation, and stressful situations on a routine basis. Performs both foot patrol and vehicle patrol of facilities and grounds. Must be physically able to provide the essential services of the position.

Geisinger is proud to offer a Security Officer I a $16.24 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to $2 shift differentials for evening, nights, and weekend shifts!
