Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and healthcare facility policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, providing directions and assistance while helping maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and facility representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be able to work in/around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
