As a Security Officer Hospital Interior Security in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be comfortable working in/around a hospital morgue.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
