Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer High Rise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will protect a commercial property, provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, and maintain a strong presence to deter incidents.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms or incidents with calm, professional communication. A valid driver’s license is required for driving roles where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

As a Security Officer High Rise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report conditions, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
