Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, has a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer position in Denver, CO. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, and base pay of $21.50 per hour.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control/badging is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, and maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and support administrative duties at the front desk.

As a Security Officer Healthcare Center in Denver, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and support administrative duties associated with the front desk post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control/badging is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
