PalAmerican Security is seeking a part-time Healthcare Security Officer in Fort Collins to protect patients, staff, vendors and visitors in a hospital setting. You will rely on de-escalation, incident reporting and emergency response skills to maintain a safe environment.

The role emphasizes communication, quick thinking and the ability to work with hospital teams; shifts are assigned based on site needs with possible transition to full-time when available.

Formación

• Valid government-issued ID and security officer license.

As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch security services to hospital personnel, vendors, patients, and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills in de-escalation, incident reporting, and emergency response.

This is a part-time position with scheduled hours based on staffing needs at the site; 8-hour shifts are not guaranteed. Employees may have the opportunity to transfer to a full-time position when one becomes available.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Screen and direct visitors, enforce hospital guidelines, and issue passes
• Conduct patrols to detect safety hazards and unauthorized individuals
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare incident reports
• Respond to emergencies and calls for service with professionalism
• Escort personnel, control visitor access, and assist with patient transfers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military police, or security
• Ability to lift and drag 50 pounds
• Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer knowledge
• Valid government-issued ID and security officer/guard license
