Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment at client sites in Massachusetts. You will provide protective services, monitor entrances, and assist guests while upholding company standards.

The role offers on-the-job training, a base rate of $24/hour, bi-weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, a 401k, and disability insurance. Work hours vary and may include weekends.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift.
• Employment Verification For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons.
• Patrol and roam the Guest Areas of the venue, monitoring areas for safety and compliance with the house rules.
• Operate metal detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Assist with closing the venue and handling event equipment as needed.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
