Job summary

Titan Security Group is hiring Security Officers to work at a location in the Howell, Michigan area. Responsibilities include maintaining high visibility, controlling access, monitoring CCTV, and logging truck entries to ensure safety and security at the facility.

Qualified applicants are at least 18 years old, must have a valid driver’s license and a High School diploma or GED, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Prior security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Previous experience in security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Visibility: Ensure high visibility by periodically stopping and patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
• Access Control / Verify Credentials: Ensure that individuals entering the facility have proper identification and access passes (badges, cards, or visitor passes).
• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras around the gate area to identify suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, or security breaches.
• Monitor Entry and Exit Points: Ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter/exit the lot by checking IDs, vehicle registrations, or other access protocols.
• Log Entries and Exits of Trucks: Keep a detailed log of all trucks entering or leaving the premises with company and driver details.
• Observe for Security Threats: Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering, theft, vandalism, or drug use.
• Incident Reporting: Report breaches or hazards to authorities or management and document incidents thoroughly.
• Other duties as assigned.
