Per Mar Security Services in Eden Prairie, MN is hiring entry level and experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team. The position offers full-time shifts on 1st and 2nd shift, including weekends, with starting pay of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates for proper function.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.

• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.
• Assist customers and direct product locations in lumber yard.

This is a temporary position with rehoming after it is done.

Responsibilities:

More of a loss prevention job than a security job. We check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. When they come to exit, we check to make sure that the product that they purchased is in fact the product that they have in their vehicle or trailer.

Checking orders and counting purchased product

Computers

Hand held computers used, must have good understanding of computers

Product Knowledge

Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required.

Walking

Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required.

Communication

A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well
