Securitas, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a full-time role. You will patrol premises, monitor systems, and control access to protect people and property while delivering professional, courteous service.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently. Prior security or military experience is a plus; eligible candidates receive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Above average computer/technology skills required.
• Prior security, law enforcement or military experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgement.
• Strong observational and communication abilities; quick decision-making.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company safety policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Conduct patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, entry points.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
