Allied Universal in Oakland, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver to protect clients across government facilities. This role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed) and a high school diploma, with a focus on public safety, customer service and adherence to site protocols.

Pay Rate: $21.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government transportation facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, administrative areas, parking facilities, waterfront areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, directing visitors and vendors as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
