Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document observations and notify site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials as directed, and aid in maintaining orderly access to restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities, and share information with Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify credentials as directed; and assist with maintaining orderly access to restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
