Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver for Leawood, KS. You will drive and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

As part of our team, you will follow site-specific procedures, assist with access control, and report incidents through clear documentation. The role includes a driver’s license requirement and background/drug screening as per policy.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and tenant concerns calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including interiors, exteriors, parking, and access points.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations; complete clear incident reports.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and delivery coordination per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will drive and conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, completing clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and delivery coordination in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
