Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time, unarmed patrol role in Richardson, TX. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, provide customer service, and support aerospace/defense locations with routine reporting and responsive actions.

The ideal candidate has security experience, an active clearance, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to work a varied schedule. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies within an aerospace/defense environment.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions and equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in line with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.16 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
